Make your own Potato Chips!

Standard

My sister in law taught me that making your own potato chips is easy and SO delicious (thanks Heather)! Now I’m passing that knowledge on to you!

Set your over to 400.

Begin with small potatoes (new, red, whatever you prefer). Scrub them clean.

Slice them into thin slices as best you can.

Put the slices into a bag. Drizzle olive oil, salt, and pepper over the slices. Shake bag until they are coated.

**TIP** It’s awesome if you add seasoning salt or a steak rub! You can make a lot of different kinds by mixing up the seasonings at this step.

Put foil over a baking sheet (it helps avoid a mess) and spray pam over it. Lay out the slices.

Place potatoes in the oven for 7 min. Take out and flip them over using a spatula or tongs. Bake again for another 7min. The thicker the slices, the longer they will need to be in. But flipping them is important! Don’t skip that step. Take out of the oven, let cool for a couple minutes, then ENJOY!!! This is a great side dish for burgers, steaks, and really any other meats- really they are just super delicious and can be eaten at any time :)
